FAQ's Visitors

What is this site about?

Firstly thanks for being here. As I explained in the 'About Us' section, it's a place for non league photographers to upload the best of their photos to but of course I need visitors to look at their photos to encourage them to do so! Have a browse around, use the search function and see what you can find. The site was setup at the end of May 2013 ready for the 2013-14 season but hopefully you will find some content from the previous season aswell. As the site grows during the coming season and more photographers join in, it will hopefully grow to become a good resource for non league football photos.

Do I have to create an account?

No, of course not, but why wouldn't you? A Basic Account is free and adds all sorts of great features to the site for you such as ratings, commenting, tagging and your own lighbox that you can add your favourite photos to. I'm fanatical about privacy. Your email address will not be passed to any third parties under any circumstances.

Can I download the photos?

Yes you can if you want to. The download price for a single photo is shown under each photo, it's the same for all photos across the site. The download link that you will receive lasts for a week and you can use it up to three times. You can also purchase a 'download bundle' of up to 10 downloads which is valid for up to six months and works out much cheaper per download. You will receive the original digital file as uploaded to the site by the photographer, the size in pixels and in cms is also displayed under each photo.

Are there restrictions as to what I can do with my download?

You will need to read and agree to the Purchase Agreement when you download. Basically as long as the photo is for your own personal use there are really no restrictions. The copyright stays with the photographer though so you can't sell it or distribute it. Please note that due to the nature of digital downloads, and because commission is paid to photographers as soon as they ask for it, the site cannot offer refunds of purchased downloads.

Can I order prints?

Not from this site but once you have the original digital file you can do so much more with it! You can of course print the photos yourself or you can upload the image to one of the many online print stores and create anything you want from normal prints and canvasses to mugs, mousemats, keyrings, fridge magnets, calendars, whatever takes your fancy. They would certainly be a talking point or they make unique and unusual gifts for the non league football fan.

Some photographers do have their own online galleries that you could order prints from directly if you prefer. There is a Photographers page that lists them and they may have added such a link in their bio.

Where does my download fee go to?

Pretty much all of it goes to the photographer as the site pays from around 80% to near enough 100% commission on all sales depending on the download bundle that is used.
